The Code of Wages, 2019

The Central Government had been endeavouring for a long time to bring a simplified and uniform legislation to bring together the existing labour laws. Ie. The Payment of Wages Act, 1936 ; The Minimum Wages Act, 1948 ; The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 ; and The Equal Remuneration Act, 1976.

The Industrial Relations Code, 2020

Its objective is to simplify the framework for industrial relations, trade unions, dispute resolution, lay-off & retrenchment, and ensure stable and productive workplaces .

The Code on Social Security, 2020 consolidates and simplifies nine major social security laws into one integrated framework .

The Occupational Safety , Health , And Working Conditions, Code , 2020

The OSH & WC Code, 2020 consolidates 13 different labour laws into one unified legislation governing workplace safety, health standards, working conditions, and welfare facilities for workers.
